RingtoneEditor terms of use
Last updated 7 November 2026
Using the site
RingtoneEditor is free for making ringtones and text tones for your own phone. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
Your audio and your rights
The audio you open and the files you make stay yours. Only edit audio you have the right to use, such as songs you paid for, your own recordings, or sounds whose licence allows it. Copy-protected files will not open, and you must not try to remove that protection.
No guarantee
RingtoneEditor is offered as is. We test it with care, but we cannot promise it works on every device or opens every file. The install guides describe Apple’s and Google’s menus as we understand them, and those companies can change them at any time. Keep your original files.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using RingtoneEditor, including a lost file or a ringtone that will not install. These terms do not take away any right that the law says cannot be taken away.
Changes
We may change the site or these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new version.
